Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 takes the epic battle to all new heights with 12 new characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes, a refined fighting system, eight new stages and new modes.

The handheld edition of Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 will feature online and local multiplayer, touchscreen functionality, NEAR and everything you would find in the PS3 version. In addition, the PlayStation Vita version includes a Spectator Mode and Replay function that allows players to watch or share exciting matches over wi-fi. PlayStation Vita exclusive Gold Herald colour options are also available for the characters. As an integrated option, gamers can use the PlayStation Vita as the "Ultimate Controller" to play the PS3 version of the game.

  • Replay analyzer: download and analyze replay data, exclusively on the PS Vita.
  • 3G leaderboard viewing: for PS vita 3g owners, view the online leaderboards on-the-go.
  • PS3 / Vita DLC Sharing: use your DLC purchased for the console version on your PS vita at no charge.
  • 12 new characters: 12 new legends from the Capcom and marvel universes enter the fray, bringing the total character count to 48. (50 including DLC characters)
  • 8 new stages: 8 new stages, built on popular comic storylines such as days of future past, and shadowlands, brings the total stage count to 20.
  • Heroes and heralds mode: Choose your side as you help or fight the devourer of worlds, Galactus.
  • Spectator mode: spectator mode is added to an overall improved online experience.
  • Rebalanced gameplay: all characters have been completely rebalanced, including reduced damaged and air activation for x-factor.
